Mural Project at Pierce Office

I'm a designer working for Pierce Promotions, an event marketing agency located in Portland, Maine. After moving office locations, I was comissioned to paint a mural on large interior brick wall. Here are pictures of the process and the finished piece.
I started the mural by trying to sketch out the layout with some charcoal. I quickly realized that I was losing my charcoal lines when I was far off, so I switched to using black painters tape. Easy to see and I could remove the tape as I made progress.
Started to paint the large blocks of color. I purposefully used the same color of the adjacent wall to tie the mural to the rest of the room. The brick surface proved to be a challenge to completely fill in with a solid color so extra care was taken to fill in the gaps.
My beautiful wife, Paige Boley who helped with painting that day.
Color and details were added in layers.
Finished piece. Special thanks to Beka Burns for assisting and to the Pierce team. Thanks for looking at my work.
